NREGA expansion a graduation gift for Rahul: BJP

The BJP dubbed the government initiative to expand NREGA scheme to whole of country as a “graduation gift” to Rahul Gandhi and wanted to know how will the project be funded.

“Though Rahul’s appointment may be a family decision of Congress but the country needs to know the expenditure involved in the graduation gift given to him,” party spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said.

“From where the Rs 20,000 crore would come? Who would bear the cost of graduation gift?,” Prasad asked.
