Not just Twenty20

As the ICL showcased its first batch signing, there was some clarity about the league but doubts remain. For starters this wouldn8217;t be just a Twenty20 League but a season-long event that will also include 50 over games and three-day matches. Though, the international stars will be signed just for the Twenty20 tournament.

Questions about venues still remained unanswered. ICL project head Himanshu Mody said, 8220;We wouldn8217;t be going public with the venues right now.8221;

ICL8217;s cricket development programme too remained ambiguous since the location of the academies hasn8217;t been finalized.

Contract clause and amount too players were not made public but as ICL8217;s chairman of executive board Kapil Dev said they will be renewed and re-negotiated after the present time-frame with performance as the criteria.
