SHIMLA, Nov 24: The state government has directed divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners and settlement officers to ensure that Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars remained in their offices every Thursday to dispose off revenue cases and to listen to the grievances of the public and take remedial action there and then.Financial Commissioner-cum-Revenue Secretary Rajinder Bhattacharya, today, said that it has been decided that pending mutation work be completed within one month from the date of registration of the land sale deed and that all pending cases of mutation be cleared within the next two months.The divisional commissioners have also been asked to ensure that the Action Taken Report from the Tehsildars is sent to the government within a reasonable time but not later than January 7 as far as mutation work was concerned.
