NEW DELHI, January 21: The Special Investigating Team (SIT) of the Delhi police, probing the sensational Dr Tanwar murder case, has disclosed before the high court that there was no similarity between the murders of Dr Surendra Tanwar, who was allegedly close to Congress president Sitaram Kesri, and Youth Congress activist Naina Sahni.

In an affidavit filed before the high court, deputy commissioner of police, S Vasudeva submitted that the SIT probe has confirmed that the post mortem report of Naina Sahni and Dr Tanwar gave a different result.

The post mortem report of Naina Sahni was collected and shown to Dr Chander Kant who in his report on November 18 last year, opined that there was no similarity in the nature and types of injuries in the two reports, said the affidavit, which came up for hearing before a division bench consisting of Justice Y K Sabharwal and Justice M K Sharma yesterday.
