BANGALORE, SEPT 21: Shobha Subrahmanyan, Managing Director of Anand Bazar Patrika (ABP) group of publications, was elected president of the Indian Newspaper Society for 1999-2000 at the 60th Annual General Meeting held here on Monday.Subrahmanyan, who is also the chairperson of United News of India, succeeds Mammen Mathew of Malayala Manorama.
