Third seed Neha Uberoi from USA and No 5 Russia8217;s Nina Bratchikova were upset today in the on-going 25,000 NECC-ITF women8217;s tennis championship.

Neha was shown the door by unseeded Russian Alexendra Panova, 6-7 2-7, 5-7.

And to compound that loss, Neha in the company of Silvia Disderi Italy, the top seeds here, were knocked out by the Indonesian pair of Wynne Prakusya and Angelique Widjaja 1-6, 5-7. The sensational sixteen year old Uzbekistani qualifier Alexendra Kolesnichenko then ended Nina8217;s run 7-6 8-6, 6-3.

Also moving into the quarter finals were India8217;s veteran players Rushmi Chakravarthy and No 8 Isha Lakhani. Rushmi defeated Parija Maloo 6-2, 6-4 while Isha stopped Sonal Phadke 6-3, 6-1.
