Mysore Police Commissioner Bipin Gopalakrishna has ordered an inquiry into the entries made by a police sub-inspector in the station house diary claiming that a senior tried to hush up the sex scandal allegedly involving the legal fraternity.Gopalakrishna said yesterday that sub-inspector Cheluvashetty of Vijayanagara police station had left Mysore. In the entries, Cheluvashetty had said Inspector Marikale Gowda threatened him with dire consequences if he spoke about the scandal.Gopalakrishna said the probe will exclude references to the scandal as a high court panel is already looking into the matter.
