CALCUTTA, MARCH 16: Men's second seed Vinod Sridhar of Tamil Nadu made his exit in the first round of the National Grasscourt Open at the Calcutta Cricket and Football Club here, losing in straight sets to Maharashtra's Mustafa Ghouse. Sridhar, essentially a hard-court player, found Ghouse's serve and volley game too much too handle, going down 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). It was also an avenging win for Ghouse, who had lost to Sridhar in the National Games in Imphal last month.In women's singles second round matches, top seed Sai Jayalakshmi breezed past Narayani of Tamil Nadu 6-0, 6-0.
