The Lady Tata Memorial Trust has announced awards for scientific investigations in the diseases of the blood with special reference to leukaemia for the year 1997-98. This year’s international award has been given to Dr S Bose from India apart from 11 other persons all over the world.

Workshop

Indo-American society has organised a two-day workshop on `Marketing Strategies Work’ on August 11 and 12 at the Taj Hotel. Roy Rohatgi, a consultant will provide practical approach to several aspects of strategic management, dealing with complex issues related to corporate and business strategies, competitive advantage and core competencies.
