July 17: The Central Railway will operate a mega block on the up and down Harbour line between Ravli Junction and Mumbai CST from 11.40 pm to 4.40 am on July 19 and 20 to carry out engineering and overhead equipment works.
Due to this, harbour line services will be suspended between Bandra and Mumbai CST. Services to Khandeshwar, Belapur, Vashi and Mankhurd will run via main line between Kurla and Mumbai CST during this period.
Weekly express
A new weekly express train service will be introduced between Indore and Jaipur by the Western Railway. The new time table will later be implemented.The first train will leave Indore on August 5 and will return from Jaipur on August 6.
BOGS meeting
The Bombay Obstetric and Gynaecological Society (BOGS) held its 63rd meeting at which Usha Saraiya was nominated president.
The society has a membership of over 16,000 practising gynaecologists, and has chosen women’s health issues as the theme for this year.
Sulabh
The Maharashtra branch of Sulabh International has organised a blood donation camp on July 18 at St George hospital, where the organisation has planned for 250 social workers to donate blood.
It has also launched an emergency help line service in collaboration with the solid waste management department of the BMC.
