ACK quiz contest held
The Amar Chitra Katha-Bank of Baroda quiz contest on the themeFreedom Struggle8217; was held at Patkar Hall on February 6. The preliminaries were conducted by ACK editor Anant Pai in over 30 schools in Mumbai. Over 450 children were quizzed by Pai in the finals. Sneha Shah St Thomas Academy, Goregaon, Preeti Iyer Girton High School, Grant Road and Veena Iyer Jamnabai Narsee school, Vile Parle were the winners.
ENT surgical workshop
Jaslok Hospital has organised an Ear, Nose and Throat surgical workshop on February 12-13. Nearly 100 delegates are expected to participate in the workshop.
