RAJNANDGAON, Feb 15: Madhya pradesh had a great day today, but two of their players returned with shattered dreams.

Madhya Pradesh declared their first innings at 596 8212; their highest-ever total in the national championship 8212; losing eight wickets against Vadodara in the Ranji Trophy Super League tie. But, for vice-captain Amay Khurasia and middle-order bat Raja Ali it was not something to cheer about as both of them missed milestones.

Khurasia, after notching up his 14th first-class hundred, was out at 195, while Raja Ali fell five short of his maiden first-class century.

Earlier, MP resumed at their overnight total of 312 for three wickets. Pandit completed one more first-class ton in the very first over. Two overs later, the MP skipper departed at his individual score of 104 12215;4, 1215;6 caught by Williams off R A Swaroop.

Khurasia, joined by Raja Ali, celebrated his century and came back with more power after lunch break hitting five sixes.
