Clarence Seedorf scored the winning goal Thursday to give AC Milan a 1-0 win over the Urawa Reds and set up a Club World Cup final against Boca Juniors. Seedorf scored in the 68th minute after the Champions League champions had dominated possession. The Italian team will face Boca on Sunday in the final, a repeat of the 2003 Toyota Cup final, which Boca won on penalties.
Boca beat Etoile Sahel of Tunisia 1-0 Wednesday.
Milan outclassed Urawa in the first half with some exquisite one-touch passing. Their persistence finally paid off when Kaka cut in from the left and passed to an unmarked Seedorf, who side-footed in from seven meters. Milan last won the club world title 17 years ago, when they won 3-0 against Olimpia of Paraguay in Tokyo.
