NASHIK, JUNE 2: State Health Minister Dr Daulatrao Aher said that nothing could stop the inauguration of the medical university in Nashik on June 10 as all hurdles had been cleared and that Governor PC Alexander had already issued an ordinance for setting up of the university.

Addressing a meeting of the Argoya Vidhyan Vidhyapeeth Kruti Samiti at Kalidas Kala Mandir, he urged Nashikites to start preparations for a grand function for the inauguration to make it a na bhuto na bhavishyati (never before, never again) programme. He exhorted the samiti, which comprises people from various political parties and professions, to decorate the entire city for the grand occasion. He further said that the Governor would inaugurate the office of the university at a municipal building leased out by the Nashik Municipal Corporation along Gangapur Road.
