CHANDIGARH, May 3: Senior members of the Chandigarh Territorial Congress Committee have in a letter written to Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and Home Minister L.K Advani sought the immediate removal of Mayor Gian Chand Gupta.
They said that this would facilitate proper and fair investigation into the case registered against the mayor for alleged theft of electricity.
