PUNE, NOV 21: The last West Zone encounter of the Cooch Behar under-19 cricket championship between Mumbai and Maharashtra at the Deccan Gymkhana ground today was drawn. In the event of non-completion of the first innings, both teams earned three points, thus spelling the end of the hosts hopes for a place in the knockouts.
Overnight batsman Sushant Manjrekar, who hit six boundaries and one six, was out to Sanjay Patil. Pushkaraj Jadhav, however, had different ideas. And the simple catch that was dropped by Rizwan Anwar, when Jadhav was at 26, saw him end the day at an unbeaten 64.
