MUMBAI, Aug 1: Micheal Mascarenhas, the new managing director of Air-India, has mooted the gradual integration of Air India’s (A-I) and Indian Airlines'(IA) resources in order to cut costs. Addressing the airline employees at a company function today, he said that for a start, A-I and IA could integrate their training facilities.
Mascerhenas also said that A-I will cooperate more with foreign airlines in Europe, Asia and Africa. In this regard, a corporate mission will be unveiled shortly.
Mascerhenas said that he would hold a regular meeting with the union leader to solve their problems.
