PUNE, March 3: A 24-year-old vendor from Indiranagar slums was on Tuesday arrested by Swargate police on charges of harassing his wife over dowry demands and attempting to murder her when she insisted on separating from him.
Ashfaq Shaikh allegedly stabbed his wife Sultana 19 in public view while Sultana had gone to a grocer8217;s shop in Dias Plot slums on Tuesday morning.
