March 12: It could not have come at a better time. Although the amount was small, it was a touching gesture on the part of the Mahindra and Mahindra football players, who decided to present Rs 5000 to the ailing Olympian Noor Mohammed. The purse was handed over to Noor on Wednesday by Mahindra team coach, Sqn Ldr SS Hakim.In fact, footballers like M Hafeez (NIS coach), SS Waseem, M A Samad and Olympian SA Saleem have urged the State Government to provide free medical aid to the football giants like Noor, M Azam and Yousuf Khan.
