MUMBAI, July 10: ``Even the thought did not cross our minds,'' stated senior BJP leader Pramod Mahajan today, referring to speculations that the party had passed a resolution demanding the resignation of chief minister Manohar Joshi.The BJP was committed to the 1995 accord with the Shiv Sena, in which the two parties had agreed upon a leadership arrangement, in which the chief ministership would stay with the Sena while the deputy chief ministership would be with the BJP till the term of the present assembly lasted, said Mahajan. After meeting Sena chief Bal Thackeray, he told the press that the meeting was aimed at settling down the dust kicked off by media reports that the BJP wanted the ouster of the chief minister.
