Pop queen Madonna is planning to adopt another Malawian child, weeks after divorcing her director husband Guy Ritchie. The star is reportedly all set to fly to Malawi with baseball star Alex Rodriguez to bring home the child. Ritchie was said to be against her adoption plans and it became a bone of contention between the then husband and wife. The popstar is believed to have signed paperwork to adopt Mercy James from Malawi. Madonna has previously adopted her son David from the same country in 2006. The news has been confirmed by the four-year-old girl's grandfather, who told the US magazine 'Star' about it. "It breaks our hearts to know she will leave us, but adoption is best for her," the grandfather said. James' 18-year-old mother Mwandida had died just days after giving birth to her daughter. Madonna and filmmaker Ritchie announced their split in October and were recently granted preliminary divorce.
