ST GEORGE’S (GRENANDA), April 14: Darren Lehmann scored his second One-day international century to spur Australia to 288 for four in their 50 overs against West Indies today.

It was Australia’s highest limited overs total against West Indies, beating the 286 for nine they made in Guyana in 1995.

Lehmann and Michael Bevan put on 172 for the fifth wicket off just 147 balls to wrest the initiative from West Indies, who won the first match of the series of seven by 44 runs.

Lehmann hammered an unbeaten 110 from just 92 balls with 10 fours and a six. Bevan’s 72 not out came off 74 balls.
