Veteran Indian leg-spinner Anil Kumble is expected to formally announce his retirement from one-day cricket after the team returns from the Caribbean.
Before making it public, Kumble, an impeccable team man, took fellow cricketers in confidence at Port-of-Spain and Karnataka State Cricket Association would arrange for a formal announcement in the next few days.

Kumble, it is learnt, called upon his captain and long-time Karnataka mate Rahul Dravid, vice-captain Sachin Tendulkar and coach Greg Chappell before sharing the news with other team-mates.
