Kotak Mahindra Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 29.02 crore on consolidated basis in the first quarter ended June 30, 2003, compared to Rs 9.94 crore registered during the same period of the previous year. The company’s total income rose to Rs 213.84 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 142.64 crore.

I-flex Solutions Q1 net down 5%

BANGALORE: IT solutions provider I-flex Solutions on Thursday reported a 5 per cent drop in net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2003, at Rs 38.11 crore compared with the corresponding period of the last fiscal (Rs 40.07 crore). Revenues, however, jumped by 32 per cent at Rs 183.43 crore from Rs 138.82 crore.

Hindalco net dips toRs 193 crore

MUMBAI: Hindalco Industries Ltd has posted a slightly lower net profit at Rs 193 crore in first quarter ended June 30, 2003, compared to Rs 196.8 crore recorded during the same period of the previous year. The total income also dropped to Rs 1,235.4 crore during the quarter, compared to Rs 1,242 crore posted during the same period of last year.

MTNL reports marginal rise in net

NEW DELHI: MTNL reported a marginal rise in its net profit for the quarter ended June 2003 to Rs 250.67 crore from Rs 249.87 crore in the corresponding period of previous year. The company’s net income from services stood at Rs 1,497.47 crore during the quarter against Rs 1,493.65 crore in the year ago period, an MTNL release said here.
