An Air Sahara aircraft on Sunday landed under emergency condition, bringing the carcade of Nepalese PM G P Koirala to an immediate halt. Airport sources said the pilot of the aircraft informed the Delhi Air Traffic Control that he suspected that one of its tyres had burst after which all measures were kept in place for the landing of the plane.
The incident delayed Koirala8217;s carcade for several minutes as it had to cross a taxiway kept ready for the flight. Koirala8217;s plane had reached the international terminal of the IGI airport from where he was being taken to the domestic terminal to exit.
