Dr Manish Khanchandani of Ulahasnagar, with 4.5 points, emerged best in the inaugural All-Maharashtra Medico rapid chess tournament, organised by Medico Chess Federation, at the Mulund Gymkhana, Mulund E, recently. Dr Deepak Vaze of Kalyan won the runner-up spot with four points.
Dr Deepak Tandel of Thane claimed the second Open Medico regular competition title with 11 points. Dr Rajpathak was runner-up.
