The Tardeo police today registered a complaint against Shah Rukh Khan for allegedly abusing and threatening a cameraman of a television channel. The incident took place at the launch of a line of clothes based on the costumes used in Devdas on Sunday. The reason? A reporter and cameraman with Zee News were ‘‘blocking his path’’ as he came down the stairs with his bodyguards.Cameraman Rajesh Pillai says that he and Zee News reporter Vibha Kaul Bhatt were interviewing Bharat Shah near the staircase when Khan and his bodyguards came down the staircase. Khan’s bodyguards allegedly pushed Pillai to make way for him.‘‘I told the bodyguard that we were doing an interview and had he asked politely, I would have made way for Khan to pass,’’ says Pillai. It was then that Khan allegedly attacked him. After the incident, Khan left with his bodyguards and the Zee News team went to the Tardeo police station, where they filed a complaint against Khan under sections 504 and 506 IPC for using foul language and issuing threats. Khan was not available for comments.
