Bolstered by superb performances from Manpreet and Navdeep (12 points each), Khalsa College, Garhdiwala, drubbed Govind National College, Narangwal (Ludhiana), by 26-2 to clinch the Panjab University Inter-College Basketball B-Division (Women) Championship held at the PU courts on Sunday.

Manpreet and Navdeep dominated throughout the match and gave a torrid time to the Govind National College defence as they shared 24 points between them. Harpreet contributed two points to the team’s total score. In reply, Manpreet and Amandeep scored one point each for the losing team.

Meanwhile, Guru Nanak Girls College, Ludhiana, outplayed Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana, by 9-2 in the softball tournament for women being played on league basis.
