PUNE, May 18: Deccan Gymkhana bagged the overall championship with 339 points in the recently concluded Pune District junior and sub-junior swimming meet at the S P College pool. Chaitanya Health Club finished runners-up trailing the winners by 12 points.Meanwhile, Deccan Gymkhana's Kaustubh Radkar (46 pts) and Chaitanya Health Club's Meghana Chitale (20 pts) won the individual honours in the boys and girls under-19 section respectively.The second best competitor in the boys section proved out to be the promising Amar Murlidharan, who recently won laurels in the National Games. Amar of Deccan Gymkhana headed the list in the under-16 age group, while it was Farheen Yasin also of Deccan Gymkhana who girls u-16 section individual honour.
