After invoking POTA against MDMK general secretary Vaiko and nine others, the Tamil Nadu government is now examining the possibility of initiating action against Dalit Panthers of India leader Thirumavalavan and Tamilar Desiya Iyakkam leader Nedumaran.
The government is also exploring the possibility of initiating action against PMK leader Dr S. Ramadoss for propagating secessionist and divisive theories by demanding bifurcation of the state, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa claimed at the Secretariat here on Thursday, but would not explain the nature of action she was contemplating.
The CM said the government was examining the speeches of Thirumavalavan, Nedumaran and a host of other leaders who showed no hesitation in proclaiming their continued support to the LTTE at the recent World Tamil Federation meet in Chennai.
