Mumbai, Sept 18: Japan has extended a grant of Rs. 36lakhs (85,372 USD) to Helpage India under its scheme +Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects+.

Helpage India, a charitable orgnisation, would utilisethe fund for procuring and manning five Mobile Medicare Units (MMUs) to provide medical care to the poor and destitute senior citizens at their doorsteps in Mumbai, Panaji, Baroda and Indore.
