VADODARA, MARCH 7: All the hype, created by becoming West Zone champions and defeating Mumbai in Mumbai, amounted to zilch as Vadodara crashed to an ignominous innings defeat against Punjab, and went out of the reckoning for a knock-out berth, in the Super League match today.

Vadodara caved in to rookie left arm spinner Navdeep Singh after adding 15 runs. Navdeep gave away five runs in the six overs he bowled to pack off six batsmen.
