Haryana Police win
Surender Kumar, Jaswant Singh and Rajesh Kumar each scored 12 points to steer last year8217;s champions Haryana Police beat Fatehabad by 15 points in the 17th Haryana state basketball championship at Nehru Stadium, Gurgaon. In another match, last year8217;s women8217;s champions Bhiwani beat Ambala by 13 points.
Playing a fast game, the Haryana Police hoopsters proved too hot to handle for the Fatehabad cagers. But the match between Sonepatand Faridabad proved to be a thriller with the former scrapping through in the end.
