India will raise the issue of infrastructural facilities being provided to militant groups like Lashker-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan by certain fundamentalist groups during Indo-Pak talks on terrorism and narcotics beginning on August 10. The Indian side would be represented by Union Home Secretary Dhirendra Singh, who will leave for Islamabad tomorrow, sources said. Singh will be accompanied by a delegation of officials from the Home and External Affairs ministrires and the Narcotics Department.

During the parleys, India is expected to convey New Delhi’s concerns vis-a-vis cross-border terrorism and infiltration, as also infrastructural facilities being given to terrorists in Pakistan and PoK by certain fundamentalist groups, sources said. Singh is likely to apprise his Pakistani counterpart about the activities of militant groups in J-K and other parts of the country.
