Badminton players for Europe
BANGALORE: A 10-MEMBER contingent, including national champions P Gopi Chand and Aparna Popat, will take part in European circuit badminton tournaments to be held later this month.
The others are Abhinn Shyam Gupta, Nikhil Kanetkar, Sachin Ratti, Manjusha Kanwar, Pooja Parekh and Neelima Choudary, besides the men8217;s doubles team of Jaseel P Ismail and Vijaydeep Singh,according to a press release from Badminton Association of India.

CHENNAI: Athletes of Indian Bank and Canara Bank dominated the opening day, winning seven and five events respectively in the Tenth All-India Inter- Bank athletic meet at the Nehru Stadium here today.
