JANUARY 24: It was the night Lata Mangeshkar paid tribute to her father, the late Dinanath Mangeshkar to commemorate his birth centenary. It was the night a handful of Bollywood's leading film families gathered together for a perfect Kodak moment. It was the night dreams came true, prayers answered, and some wishes still stay unfulfilled.There were the older stars (Dilip Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha), the younger stars (Sanjay Dutt, Aishwarya Rai, Urmila Matondkar, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Manisha Koirala, Twinkle Khanna, Manoj Bajpai) and even the upcoming ones (Rinke Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, Sanjay Suri, Esha Deol, Nethra Raghuraman).And along with the stars were a bunch of the Hindi film industry's leading filmmakers and technicians who were being lauded for their recent efforts.Amidst the glitter and glamour, there were tears of joy, sighs of disappointment, and even screams of victory.
