ICL Season Two set to rock Tricity

The cricket fans will cheer Chandigarh Lions when they will take on new entrants Dhaka Warriors on October 31 in the first match of the fourth leg of Indian Cricket League (ICL) Season Two that will end on November 8 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula.

Just before the game starts, Raakhi Sawant the chief of ICL cheerleaders group called Zeebras will set ablaze the stage with her dance performance. The T-20 match will be played under the floodlights, promising to showcase electric cricket. The Stadium will have spruced up pitch, seating, media-centre and other facilities. Apart from Raakhi Sawant, Aarti Chabbria and Mithun Chakraborty, no other Bollywood star is expected to come for ICL matches in Panchkula. In preparation, of their game against Chandigarh Lions, the Dhaka Warriors slogged it out in MCM DAV College for Women in Chandigarh on Wednesday. Other teams like Chandigarh Lions, Ahmedabad Rockets, Royal Bengal Tigers, Delhi Giants, Mumbai Champs, Chennai Superstars, Hyderabad Heroes and Lahore Badshahs will arrive in Chandigarh on Thursday.

Tight Security

The ICL officials have roped in 350 private security guards from Mumbai to ensure safety of the players and spectators. The Tau Devi Lal Stadium has capacity of accommodating 10,000 spectators.
