
Wicketkeeper-batsman Ibrahim Khaleel brought up his maiden T20 fifty off only 39 balls as India beat Pakistan by four wickets in a thrilling league match of the ICL World Series at Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad.
Chasing 152, the Indian team required 16 runs from 12 balls with five wickets in hand as skipper R Sathish took complete control of the situation and took his side to victory with two balls to spare.
The Indians got off to a good start with G Vignesh playing the big shots. One-drop Abhishek Jhunjhunwala, along with Khaleel, brought on the fifty partnership off only 41 balls before smart out-fielding from Abdul Razzaq brought an end to Khaleel’s brilliant innings of 63 in the 15th over.
