Raghu Ram feels ‘women are a big problem’, would curse worse then men on Roadies: ‘Men prefer heart attacks than opening up to women’

Raghu Ram feels men would prefer getting bypass surgeries done or dying by heart attack instead of opening up to women because women use it against them.

Former Roadies judge Raghu Ram has claimed that women are the root cause of some of men’s mental and physical illnesses. He even goes on to say that so many men die of heart attacks after the age of 60, and some even die by suicide, because it all boils down to the kind of women choose to be in relationships with. He even recounted how he came across some women on his popular reality show who were even more aggressive than men. His contentious comments came on a podcast and left the hosts also shocked.

“There were some women in Roadies that our ears turned red, smoke came out, and fell on the floor. I was taking notes from them. Their decibel levels and language… when girls get down to it. Girls are not gentlemen. Even men are fighting, there’s still a limit. Women don’t have that limit. They get so screechy and what they say is very hurtful. We get very scared,” said Raghu.

“Girls are a huge problem because they may say they need emotionally open men, but they don’t actually want them. When a man turns emotional, they reject him saying. ‘You’re like a girl! We’ve lost respect for you.’ Because of girls, guys don’t share anything. We’re happy to have a heart attack at 60 instead,” added Raghu on the Two Girls & Two Cups podcast, getting protest from the hosts.

He claimed that it’s only men who die of heart attack at that age. “It’s because of the way women don’t accept us when we open. We don’t even have an option. How bad can it be? Heart attack? Bypass surgery? We’ll do that. But I won’t say something vulnerable to a woman. When a man does, women use that against him,” argued Raghu, claiming that these tactics are the “default setting” and “inbuilt” in women.

He also quoted the example of a woman’s remark that she made during The Audition Room, a series he does on his YouTube channel Raghu Box. She said she wouldn’t respect men who don’t earn. Raghu posed a question in response, “What if we say women who aren’t pretty aren’t worthy of our love? Also, as we grow older, our capacity to earn only increases. Your looks would go down. Then? Have we ever made it conditional for you?”

Raghu clarified that he doesn’t feel men shouldn’t earn, but has an objection to whether women’s respect for them is conditional on them earning. “This doesn’t mean women or men are regressive, but it’s so ingrained in our society that men must earn. Seventy-five percent of the suicides in India are men’s. Fifty percent of them are because of financial pressures. You’ve made men’s identity conditional on that. Your respect doesn’t stem from whether he’s a wife-beater, cheats on his girlfriend or wife, or is a racist. But he’ll have to earn your respect by providing, which is a problem. And that’s very normal for girls,” argued Raghu.
