‘I try to hit the gym whenever possible’

Tell us about your daily diet.
I start my day with a glass of warm milk and dates. Breakfast is light—cornflakes with milk or toast and juice. Lunch is anything that is available. I’m not that fussy about food. When I am shooting I eat whatever is available on the sets. Usually it’s dal, roti, sabzi and rice. I always carry lots of nuts in my bag and keep munching on them throughout the day. Dinner is once again the regular menu but I try to avoid rice.

What is your exercise routine?
I try to hit the gym whenever possible. I feel that the best exercise is running. I love to go for a long run in the park.

Is there something you binge on?
Every Sunday, my friend and I go out and binge on chaat and Frankies.

What is your favourite cuisine?
Thai and Italian.

What would you do if you had to lose or put on weight in a hurry?
I would probably alter my workout and diet accordingly. However, that is just a hypothetical answer. In reality, I find these crash diets extremely unhealthy.

How many times have you failed to stick to a diet?
I have never tried to follow a strict diet. I’m not fussy about food at all.

What is your idea of health?
Feeling comfortable in your skin.
