What8217;s your workout regime like?
I have a martial arts trainer who I exercise with every morning. He teaches me not one, but a combination of various martial arts. Besides that, I go to the gym three times a week. I prefer weights to cardio.
Did your regime change while shooting for Rang De Basanti?
Yeah, it slowed down. I didn8217;t have much time to work out because of the constant travelling. Without a gym, I had to do more free-hand exercises and martial arts training. A trainer from Mumbai came with us while we were shooting in Jaipur and Ludhiana. He was meant to exercise with all the actors on the sets, but he soon realised we were all lazy, and left.
Are you back on track now?
I am. I8217;m going to the gym more regularly. I have two months to build my muscles for a film I8217;ve signed. Right now my frame is too lean, so I have to work on it.
What8217;s your diet like?
I8217;m vegetarian, so I eat a lot of paneer, tofu and soya for protein. And I8217;m addicted to masala dosa. I have to eat at least two, or my day isn8217;t complete.
Have you binged lately?
I have a bad sweet tooth and can polish off boxes of mithai and chocolate. I8217;m not picky. I eat whatever sweets I can get my hands on.
