diet: I HAVE been following Dr Anju Venkat8217;s naturopathy diet for the past two years. I have also been vegetarian for the past seven or eight years. On most days I just have fruits and fruit juices till noon. Before lunch, I eat one raw carrot, salad and drink some beet juice, to which I add either coriander or celery for mineral content. For lunch I have brown rice, vegetables and half a glass of yogurt. In the evening I have two glasses of juice. Before dinner, I have raw doodhi juice and salad. Dinner is sprouted or tossed veggies and something with protein content like paneer. I avoid tea, coffee, eggs and cheese and am allergic to meat. My biggest weakness is cola, but now I drink it only twice a week.
exercise: I go swimming regularly and I recently started going to the gym with my sister Sameera. I stick to squats and weights. Whenever possible, I go for a 30 to 40 minute brisk walk. I also go trekking and dancing regularly. I am not fanatical about workouts, I believe they should be fun. I8217;m not a gym junkie.
problem areas: My problem areas are my thighs. I try to concentrate on my thighs when I8217;m exercising.
