PANCHKULA, Aug 18: A house was burgled in Sector 9 while the owners were away. The burglary was noticed only when the owners returned from a holiday.
Puran Singh Babbar, a resident of Sector 9 had gone with his wife and children to Dehradun a week ago, leaving the house locked. However, on returning, it was discovered that the locks had been broken.
The burglars took away a VCR, a cordless phone and Rs 500 in cash. A case has been registered under Section 454 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.
