NOVEMBER 8: Rajendra Rajbhar (24), a resident of Indiranagar slums, Andheri east, was noticed lying injured by police constable Dilip Shinde who was patrolling the area. Shinde rushed an unconscious Rajbhar to Cooper Hospital, but Rajbhar was declared dead before admission. Police have still not been able to find the motive behind the murder and no arrests have been made so far.

Meanwhile, three youths have been arrested by the Mulund police for trying to kill an autorickshaw driver at Mulund late on Sunday night.

Mangesh Mundekar (21), Rajesh Mundekar (28), Khandu Shinde (23) and Raju Dhamale (27) were arrested early this morning for beating up and stabbing Kishor Salve (22). According to the police, the four had had an argument with Salve a few months ago. On Sunday night, when Salve was returning home, the four attacked him, beat him up and stabbed him. Salve has been admitted to a private hospital and is recovering, police said.
