New Delhi, Oct 16: In a significant development in the mysterious death of Harpreet Kaur, teenaged daughter of SGPC chief Bibi Jagir Kaur, the CBI has asked the Punjab police to trace her personal security officer Nishant Singh for questioning.

Highly-placed sources in the agency said the Punjab police had been asked to look for Singh and direct him to the CBI’s special investigation unit for questioning in the case.

Singh, who has been named by the CBI in the First Information Report as one of the conspirators in the case, had so far not made himself available to CBI for questioning, the sources said.
