CHENNAI, July 12:The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum south, Chennai, has directed Gulf Air company, Bahrain, to pay Rs 21,810 to a passenger towards loss of articles contained in his baggage which was lost in transit. According to Joyson Paul, a technologist in Apollo Hospitals, he was on his way to Jerusalam for a symposium. When he boarded the Gulf Air flight, he handed over his baggage but when he landed in Baharain, his bag was handed over to him minus his research papers, clothes etc.
