Sharjah, March 23: Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly accepted all the blame for Wednesday’s crushing defeat and said it was a good wake up call for the remaining games in the tri-nation cricket series here.

“Everybody has a bad day and I just hope we’ll comeback with better performance tomorrow,” he said.

Reacting to his decision to bat first, the left-hander said the wicket was playing good but the batsmen failed to bat properly. “It was a faster Sharjah wicket than usual but we should have got at least 250 runs here. We gave our bowlers no chance.”
