AMRITSAR, June 16: Guru Nanak Dev University today released the admission schedule for its teaching departments for the year 1998-99.
R.S. Bawa, the registrar of the university, has said the regular dates for admission to BA (Hons), B.Sc (Hons school in economics), B.Sc.(Hons school in sciences and life sciences), B.Sc industrial microbiology, B. Pharmacy, LL.B, B.Lib, BJMC, MA, M.Sc pass course sciences, applied sciences, life sciences, MBA, MPM and IE, MBE, MCA, M.Sc (Hons school) and M.Com will be July 6 to 17.
He said with the approval of the head of the concerned department and with late fee of Rs 100 the admission to these courses will be done from July 18 to August 10. Bawa said with the late fee of Rs 200 and with the permission of the vice-chancellor, the admission to these courses will be made from August 11 to 25.
The registrar said the regular dates for admission to M.Phill, M.Tech food science, LL.M., M.Lib Science, MJMC, diplomas and certificate courses will be from July 13 to 20.
He said with the late fee of Rs 100 and with the permission of the head of the department concerned from July 21 to August 10. With the approval of the vice-chancellor and with late fee of Rs 200 the admission to these courses will be done from August 11 to August 25, Bawa said.
He said the regular dates for admission to B.Tech. electronics, planning, sugar technology, computer engineering and food technology, B.Arch. and B.Tech textile chemistry will be done after 10 days of the declaration of result of CET-1998.
