Glenmark Pharma sees 52.15% dip in Q2 net

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd on Monday reported a 52.15 per cent decline in net profit for the quarter ended September at Rs 13.84 crore, as against Rs 28.94 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year.

Videocon Intl Q4 net up 52%
MUMBAI: Videocon International Ltd on Monday declared 52.70 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 66.55 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 compared with Rs 43.58 crore in the same period in the last fiscal. Total income has increased 28.66 per cent to Rs 1,271.78 crore for the fourth quarter from Rs 988.43 crore in the year-ago period, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company has posted a net profit of Rs 237.83 crore for the year ended September 30, 2005 compared with Rs 133.29 crore last year. Total income has increased to Rs 4,831.18 crore for the year ended September 30, 2005 from Rs 4,011.86 crore in the previous fiscal.

Apollo Tyres posts 25% rise in Q2 at Rs 18.66 crore
MUMBAI: Apollo Tyres Ltd on Monday declared a 25.48 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 18.66 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 compared with Rs 14.87 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose by 21.70 per cent at Rs 633.6 crore for the second quarter from Rs 520.6 crore in the same period last fiscal, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.
