HAMBURG AUG 24: Hosts Germany defeated Olympic champions The Netherlands 3-2 today to win the four-nation Panasonic Masters Field Hockey Tournament here.

German captain Christian Blunck gave the home team 1-0 half-time lead and added another in the second half only to see Holland’s Bram Lomans equalise twice from the penalty spot. Oliver Domke clinched victory for Germany with an opportunist goal (62nd min).
